The General UMW meet quarterly usually in January, April, August and November on a Sunday after the 11 AM service. A lunch is served, with a short business meeting and a special guest speaker.
The PFUMC UMW is a part of the District UMW which is a part of the Memphis Conference which is a part of the Southeastern Juridical Conference.

The UMW is divided into small groups known as circles. The meeting times vary so that a woman can choose the best time for her throughout the months September–May .
All circles have the same mission to serve others locally, regionally as well as internationally. We support Reelfoot Rural Missions in Tiptonville, TN with money, work days and Campbell Soup Labels, Lakeshore Methodist Assembly other mission projects within our church. We support our children in elementary school with coats, hats and mittens when needed as well as graduating seniors that need invitations and/or clothing to wear for graduation. Our one main fundraiser each year is “Spring Gathering” in which all three units work together selling tickets, cooking and serving lunch to the community. We encourage members to attend the “Spiritual Growth” Retreat at Lakeshore each spring. We support the UMW READING PROGRAM by providing books relative to the issues with which UMW is concerned. The books are located in the Church Library
Circle meetings and other activities of the UMW are often announced in the weekly worship bulletin announcements, the newsletter which can be found on this website. Visitors are welcome to attend regular meetings and special events, and to become regular members.
