Sunglasses Sunday
|
Sunglasses Sunday historically occurs in February. On this Sunday, we participate in Project 20/20, a program that provides both sunglasses and eyeglasses to medical teams providing free services in countries where there is little or no medical care for the poor. This project has had great success, and in the first fifteen years since its first shipment of eyeglasses to Costa Rica in 1993, provided over 27,000 pairs of glasses to the mission teams.
